Tree Search

The Search page of Texas Tree Trails' significant trees allows visitors to search for
a tree's botanical details, location
& measurement details and other pertinent data relevant to the uniqueness of the individual tree and
by retrieving this data on an web page.
Multiple search results may be displayed as a result of your search. Champion trees of like kind are sorted in descending order by Index. A complete listing of the database is found in the
DFW Big Tree Registry
or you can click Show All. A Glossary is available for
explanation of botanical terms in search results.

Search by Name or Location
(Make a selection from the drop-down menu, click the
arrow button to move your selection to the right column,
then click the Search button.) Show all (click
to display all trees)

Search by Measurement Data
(Select a numeric operator such as = or > or < to choose a
range of values. Example: To search for all trees with a height
greater than 50 ft., choose > and enter 50 to the right then click
the Search button) Show all (click
